Horsetooth Reservoir Fort Collins Check with Ranger or pick up brochures at marina to identify dive areas.
Carter Lake West of Loveland/Berthoud Permit Required-check with Ranger or pick up brochure at marina to identify dive areas.
Jefferson Lake Reservoir Jefferson Colorado (other side of Kenosha Pass) off Highway 285 Beautiful setting at the base of a mountain, 10,000 elevation, clean and really cold water, approximately 2hr. drive; trout, pike; visibility 10-15 feet; only two access points; depth drops very deep; giant rocksboulders (fun for divers); tons of fisherman (be nice to them!)
Turquoise Lake Leadville, West of Leadville on road 9C 20' visibility 55° F in August; elevation 9,500; shallow rocky and gravel areas; watch out for fisherman and fish hooks; easy access, lots of parking; approximately 2.5 hours from Denver.
Chatfield Reservoir / King Fisher Ponds Littleton Average depth-20 feet; limited visibility 2-10 feet; surface temp - upper 60's in summer; bottom temp low 60's in summer; lots of crayfish, two toilets, one fire hydrant, one small boat, easy access.
Aurora Reservoir Aurora Has reserved area just for diving, average depth - 30 feet; visibility 4-25 feet; has a twin engine beach craft to dive on (30 ft deep) Surface temp upper 60's in summer bottom upper 50's to lower 60's; tons of crayfish and many carp; access to the area is a bit challenging
Pueblo Reservoir 7 Miles west of Pueblo, on Highway 50 Best if you dive around Memorial Day.

Navajo Reservoir On the Colorado and New Mexico border 35 Miles SW of Pagosa Springs on Highway 151  
Wellington Reservoir West on Hwy 285 to Bailey then South 11 miles Phone: 303-838-5496. Private residence with private campground - $4 daily fee for campground and lake. Separate scuba beach
